She is survived by her husband, Donald Nelson Woody; son, Donald Anthony Woody; grandson, Adam Tyler Woody; and other family members. A graveside service will be held on October 5, 2023, at noon at Mountain View Memorial Park, with Pastor Ronald Coleman officiating. Visitation will be from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at Flora Funeral Service on the same day. Jeremiah Patrick Holland of Rocky Mount was born to Brittany and Johnathan Holland on September 28, 2023. He passed away after 3 hours and is now an angel. Jeremiah is survived by his brothers, Camryn Johnson, Jayden Holland, and Jarrieus Meador, along with grandparents, great-grandparents, aunts, uncles, and many cousins. His final resting place will be Franklin Memorial Park at noon on Saturday, October 7, 2023, with Pastor Bobby Young officiating—arrangements by Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.

Benjamin Matthew Lilly Sr. “Ben,” 60, of Franklin County, passed away on September 28, 2023. He is survived by his sons, Benjamin Lilly Jr. (Susan) and Jacob Lilly, along with grandchildren and a large extended family. Benjamin worked as a carpenter and was born in Roanoke, VA. A memorial graveside service will be held at the Hall Family Cemetery (Cassell Drive) at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 4, 2023, with Rev. Joe Wooldridge officiating. Earl Kendrick (Ken) Hurt Jr., 81, of Union Hall, VA, peacefully passed away at home on September 24, 2023. He was born on September 23, 1942, in Richlands, VA, and had a rich and fulfilling life. Despite a terminal cancer diagnosis 27 years ago, Ken lived to the fullest and never gave up. His loving family survives him, and a Celebration of Life service will be held on October 28, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at Trinity Ecumenical Parish in Moneta, VA.

Jennifer Mika Mileto, 32, of Moneta, passed away on September 21, 2023. She is survived by her father, James (Jurea) Mileto; mother, Angela (Chad) Evans; uncle, Joey (Leslie) Mileto; aunts, Lisa Hughes and Jeanie (Chester) Shepherd; grandfather, William Mutters; and cousins. Jennifer worked as an Application Specialist at Young-Williams and was passionate about reading, swimming, and drawing. She deeply loved cats and was known for her kind-hearted nature. Services will be private. Arrangements are being handled by Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount/Smith Mountain Lake.
